what I did before the airport...hmmmm

YESTERDAY: before the airport
sundays on Melrose and Fairfax in (hollywood/LA area), you can find the MELROSE TRADING POST..an awesome flea market with so many treasures.....I got a cool ring, a LEVI acid washed jacket, a lil' bomber jacket for BLAKER, mini sunglasses, some cool cheapo sunglasses like I had in high school...a really awesome navy jacket...and some really "sharp" looking earrings...
and I had just a really fun time..walking around, cool characters are there, and some fun jazz music is played by the food area! so fun.....bike shop on the way to the MELROSE TRADING POST
cool baby blue phone, that I'd love to have as my home phone!!!!

i don't care what anyone thinks...I loved the silver harem-hammer pants!
awesome shoes ABOVE and below from the John Fleuvog store...love the "funky" saddle shoe look and the cool purpley-pink boots!!!

this store had lots of TUK creepers....they said these were the last of the ones being made in the UK...we'll see f they're right! They did have a pair of bronze-metallic Doc Martens that I almost got...they were tall and so, so tough! Their price was just a little "tall" for me too! ha ha ha
a yummy grilled cheese and smoked bacon sandwich was eaten by me....and a chocolate chip cookie with vanilla gelato was shared! the off to the airport....
this was an art installation in LAX airport, that I liked... all the colors, and sparkle...and the tiger-print-sequin paint roller!?! love it!

my friend, Teresa was flying in right after me...and I just heard hysterical laughing...it was her laughing at me as she came around the corner....and took my picture!!!! She almost tripped on my mansion-in-the-airport.....

I had an awesome day!!! Wait til I tell you about the rest!!!!! My ride is here, but this is what I look like typing right now! ha ha ha ha ha

What the Fuh????

They are the nicest and cutest couple! We went and ate some yummy Vietnamese food down the street at a cool little place called, Blossom ....they all had Pho (sounds like "fuh", like "duh" but with an F. I had my fav, "shaking beef" with lots of Hoisin sauce. And a yummy Thai Tea...it tastes like a creamy caramel tea..sooooooo good!

So, since everyone always asks me to do make-up on other people...here it is...you get to finally see me in action! ha ha ha

We shot this in a gallery space in downtown LA, where my friend lives. We had lots of homeless people coming up to the video...singing to us, as to buy out water bottle for 2 cents..., lots of people yelling...it was hilarious!

The lighting was beautiful...and we got to do 3 different looks..this first one with the green was my favorite...we decided that this is going to be the hottest New Year's look...!!! IT is so amazing looking!!!

We had lots of fun...and it will be fun to see make-up on someone other than myself! ha ha ha

And thanks to the boys for setting up the lights and the moving the fence to make us a "stage"! hee hee hee
I'm off to try to find a flight that won't be delayed because of the storm!

Lust & Shoes

(look how tall I looked last night with my homegirl Paula!!! she got down all low to make me look even taller than the 10 feet tall i was! ha ha ha)


i fell in "like" with these shoes the moment I saw them all crooked on a shelf...in Forever 21...
I was like 29 feet all in these babies last night...I felt very super-model-height...or basketball player height! ha ha ha ha

WARNING: so NOT wear these shoes if you will be standing or walking for more than 4 hours! I did...and the balls of my feet felt like they wear the size of pillows from swelling!

Now for the LUST-
Sometimes we are overtaken by something....and love isn't something that is this horrible accident...that you just "fall" into.....love is a decision, a choice......if you accidentally fall in love, chances are you will probably fall right out of it!
When you choose to fall in love, it involves much more thought and care....no careless "falling" involved....ha ha ha...when you choose, chances are that you will be the one that chooses to stay in love.

People fall in lust...you don't choose to be physically attracted to someone, you just feel things...but feelings, you can't let your life be run by feelings. Some mornings I don't feel like working, or I don't feel like cleaning my house, or I don't feel like doing this or that....but if I just operated on feelings....my life would be out of control! ha ha ha

We need to make choices...we choose to clean our house so it looks nice, we choose to fall in love, because someone is worthy of our love...we choose to do the work that requires us to rise to the next level!
Today, may you choose the most amazing options out there for you! Dont' let life just happen to you, choose the life that you want. No matter how hard or difficult, choose the best option out there...don't settle for "just happening".......choose the best!

what happens in the VEGAS airport doesn't stay in vegas!

things I did NOT buy, while stuck, in the LAS VEGAS airport:the newspaper dress...fun but not too functional

the neon fur legwarmers: again, fun, but somehow.......if you saw the rest of the store, you'd say NO, too! ha ha ha ha...i did like the white ones though! hee hee

this was the view from my window seat of the LAS VEGAS skyline...you can see the black pyramid of the spooky-looking LUXOR, if you enlarge the picture, you can see the NY NY casino's mini-NY skyline (i don't know why, but I love it!), and then the plane ol buildings...
there was no gate to park our plane at, so we just sat on the runway for like an hour, while pretty much most of the people, missed their connecting flights! ha ha ha.....Lil' ol' me was told I'd be hanging out in VEGAS airport for a while too....so this is what I did:
I set up camp...you can see my "nerd" back-pack...it holds all this techy...laptop, video cam, memory cards, power cords, hard drives to store all my videos, headphones...my green purse from baghaus.com, my lappy top...and my vanilla blended-coffee free drink from Coffee Bean...I edited a video while hundreds of cowboys & girls going to the big Rodeo walked from their planes...
right next to where I set up my office...people looked at me weird for taking this picture! ha ha ha

I DID buy a LAS VEGAS pen...because I really needed a pen, and that's all they had! And a really cool LAS VEGAS, something, but I can't tell what it is , because the person who os getting it, might read this! hee hee

a little bit Hip-Hop

so my friend Paula, who shares some of the same style as me (funky sneakers, cool hats, semi-tomboyish, a little hip-hop and 80's, and slightly tomboy-ishat times..i love it!)...showed me this really cool site that has personalized jewelry.this is my Paula
